Dear all the staff at Derech Hateva,
Some reflections of a mother from afar....
You all worked so hard to organize this trip, the planning and checking and advance hikes and all. Then in the beginning a war broke out and you worked together to reorganize and move the kids and find a safe haven to continue ... Did it even enter your head to quit? Well according to Na'ama that was never a thought. So you moved all our kids to the hills of Jerusalem and they hiked and planned and were leaders for a day and organized food, bathrooms for shabbat, an eruv and more. They learnt leadership and responsibility and had fun and had fun and hiked and ... well what can i say? You gave me back a daughter who had a healthy radiant smile that says it all.
Thank you all for all your work: Yael, Batel, Mike , the other madrichot (who at my age I can't recall all the names!). Keep up the good work, the idea and ideal and have many more years of success and joy from the reflections of our kids and their radiant smiles.
D'vora Grossbaum, mother of Na'ama
